Reframing the Art Room: A Restorative Practices Book Study

What if the way we respond to students could change the way they experience the art room? Today’s learners bring a wide range of experiences, needs, and challenges into our classrooms. Restorative practices offer a new way to build connections, strengthen relationships, increase engagement, and create a classroom community where every student can thrive.

Rethink. Reflect. Create.

Join the editors of Restorative Practices in Education Through the Arts for a six-part online book study designed to help you explore restorative practices and discover practical ways to bring them into your everyday teaching. Through author-led conversations, creative reflection, and optional open studio time, explore ways to:

  • Re-engage students who feel disconnected
  • Build stronger relationships and a sense of belonging
  • Support a more connected classroom community
  • Apply restorative practices in your own art room
  • Turn ideas and reflection into practical next steps
