Nancy Walkup

Nancy Walkup is the editor of SchoolArts Magazine, published for art educators since 1901 by Davis Publications. Nancy is also a contributing author for Explorations in Art, Davis’ elementary textbook series. In addition to her work with us, she is also the Director of the North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts at the University of North Texas and the NAEA Elementary Director. 

Nancy’s teaching experience covers all grade levels from kindergarten through graduate school. You’ll find her here often, writing for her like-minded compatriots, aiming to share your world of art education by providing timely art news; entertaining or thought-provoking artists, ideas, stories, and issues; professional opportunities for you; and project and lesson ideas and exhibition possibilities for your students.
