Kelly Bisogno

Coordinator of Fine Arts, Virginia Department of Education

Kelly Bisogno is the Coordinator of Fine Arts at the Virginia Department of Education. She has taught art to children, teens, and adults for over 15 years. She holds BFA degrees in Sculpture and Art Education from Virginia Commonwealth University and a masters in Educational Technology and Education Leadership. She was an art teacher for over 10 years and is a Distinguished Fellow of the Virginia Art Education Association and Virginia Art Educator of the Year in 2024. Kelly serves on several state and national arts education organizations and is the co-chair of the Arts Education Partnership Data Working Group.

Cheryl Maney is an Independent Contractor and Educational Consultant for Davis Publications. With over 34 years of teaching and supervision experience in the Arts, Cheryl shares her expertise in Arts integration; Instructional Best Practices; Curriculum Development; Media Based Workshops; Literacy and Arts with educators across the country. In addition to the professional development and consulting work she now does, Cheryl is the past President of the North Carolina Art Education Association and current NAEA Vice President for the Southeastern Region.


Andy Meadows

Andy Meadows

Arts Education Specialist (Retired), Alabama Department of Education

Andy Meadows, recently retired Arts Education Specialist with the Alabama State Department of Education, has dedicated his career to advancing equitable and data-informed arts education. A native of Montgomery, Alabama, Andy earned his B.A. from Huntingdon College and an MFA from the University of Alabama. He was instrumental in bringing the artlook® Alabama platform to the state—making Alabama the first in the nation to adopt this innovative data-mapping system as a statewide initiative. Through this platform, schools, districts, and community arts partners can track and strengthen arts access, enrollment, and engagement across the state. Andy also led the Alabama Arts Education Initiative (AAEI), which has awarded nearly $11 million in grants to support sustainable, high-quality arts programs. He is a founding member of the Alabama Artistic Literacy Consortium and serves on the boards of the Alabama Arts Alliance and the Alabama Institute for Education in the Arts. Nationally, Andy is the Past President of the National Association of State Directors of Arts Education and frequently presents on arts education data, access, and advocacy at national conferences.
