How can I place an order for my school?
School orders will be accepted on an official school purchase order via fax, mail, or email. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover via Web, phone, mail, fax, or email.
Please contact your local Davis Representative or Customer Service if you need a proposal for your school.
How can I place an order for my myself?
Individual orders may be placed by Web, phone, mail, or fax using Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. We also accept payment by check through the mail. Orders must be prepaid, including shipping costs and applicable taxes based on the shipping address. See Shipping & Delivery.
How do I set up an account on DavisArt.com?
Go to the top right-hand corner of the screen, and click on My Account. Then, click on Click Here To Register under the login button.
Personal Account - Create this type of account if you are planning on making purchases for yourself.
Institution or Business Account - Create this type of account if you are planning on making purchases to be used by an institution or business, such as a school or university.
Next, fill out the form with the information required, and submit the form.
Once my account is set up, how do I make changes?
Manage your account by clicking on the My Account link in the upper right corner of the web page.
Customers exempt from sales and use taxes, please provide an exemption certificate with your orders. Failure to submit an exemption certificate may result in additional tax charges on your invoice. All other customers should add sales tax per state requirements, and local tax where applicable.
IMPORTANT: Due to extended shipping times dictated by FedEx and the USPS, we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.
What are the shipping costs?
U.S. Customers - Orders over $100.00—Add 10% shipping & handling. Orders under $100.00—Add $10.00 shipping & handling.
Canadian Customers - You may purchase our materials through Oxford University Press in Canada. Due to rights and permissions, we are limited on which titles can be sold for use outside of North America. You may contact Customer Service to see if the title you are interested in is available.
What is our rush policy?
For online orders, you may select Overnight or Second Day delivery. For phone, fax, or email orders, please request a shipping quote from Customer Service.
* Orders are processed and shipped Mon–Fri 8:30am–2pm. Rush orders must be submitted by 2pm Eastern Time to be shipped the same day. Orders placed Sat or Sun will be processed the following business day with a “rush” status.
What is our turnaround time?
Our standard turnaround time is 7–10 business days.
How will my order be shipped?
We use UPS, FedEx, and USPS Priority, so that your order can be tracked.
May I receive a sample book?
To sample any curriculum available digitally, simply sign up for a 90-day FREE trial of Davis Digital.
Reviewing curriculum for potential adoption? We can sample physical product of our core curriculum for this purpose if needed. Please contact your local Davis Sales Representative or Customer Service to request a sample. We do not sample resource books or ancillary materials outside of large adoptions that list it as a state requirement.
May I receive a desk copy?
We do send desk copies to college professors reviewing our books for use in their courses. These requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. These requests are required to be made in writing on college letterhead. They should include class title, potential enrollment, a brief description of the course, and a school address to ship to. The request can be mailed, faxed, or emailed.
What are the technical requirements for Davis Digital?
Davis Digital is compatible with most modern browsers and operating systems, including PC, Mac, and mobile devices. A complete list of the Davis Digital Technical Requirements is available.
Does Davis Digital work on iPads / Tablets / Chromebooks?
Yes, Davis Digital is compatible with most mobile devices and tablets.
How do I install Davis Digital on my computer?
Davis Digital is a cloud-based program that is accessed online through a dedicated website. Therefore, no installation is required.
Will Davis Digital work with my school district’s firewall or Internet security system?
Yes. In some cases, your school’s IT department may need to make adjustments to the firewall to allow access to Davis Digital. The information needed can be found in the Davis Digital Technical Requirements document, and Davis Customer Service can work directly with your school’s technical staff to ensure that teachers and students have full access to Davis Digital.
Davis Art Images is accessible through Davis Digital. Request free access for 90 days.
A Davis Art Images subscription includes one year of access to more than 20,000 fine art digital images. Pricing is per school based on the number of accounts your school or district needs.
How often is SchoolArts published?
SchoolArts is published 9 times a year—September, October, November, December, January/February, March, April, May, and Summer.
What format is SchoolArts offered in?
After 124 years of offering a printed magazine, SchoolArts has transitioned to a digital format starting with the September 2025 issue. The digital platform allows subscribers to access more than two years of back issues, plus search for and save articles. Check out the SchoolArts digital platform.
How do I subscribe to the digital platform?
Choose from a monthly ($6.95 per month) or yearly ($34.95 per year) digital subscription. With either choice, you receive 10 days of free access. You may cancel your subscription within those 10 days and not be charged.
How can I purchase back issues of SchoolArts?
To purchase back issues of SchoolArts, contact Lorraine Markey, Subscriptions Manager, at 800-533-2847, x220. Issues can be purchased at a prepaid cost of $7.99 each. Have the publication month and date of the desired issue readily available. Please note that inventory is limited.
How do I get permission to reproduce articles from SchoolArts magazine?

What is our Return Policy?
You have 30 days from receipt of an order to examine and return any purchased materials. Materials must be in re-saleable condition, not stamped or otherwise marked.
Shrink-wrapped items must be returned unopened to receive credit unless the product is defective.
All returns require prior authorization from Customer Service.
Bookstores and dealers are not eligible for overstock returns. Read our Bookstore Policy.
