Tequila
Instead of trying to reproduce the photographic image precisely, Hendricks attempts to instill in his portraits a quiet dignity and a germ of the personality of the individual. He does this through the details of costume, pose, and such accessories as sunglasses and jewelry. Because his portraits aim to elicit a reaction from the viewer as to the personality of the sitter, Hendricks's portraits stand out from those of other photo realists.
