Standing Warrior, from Rimini
The Etruscans, who inhabited northern Italy, became sophisticated bronze-casters, having learned the lost-wax technique from the Greeks, who had trading colonies in southern Italy. The Romans conquered the Etruscans and in turn learned bronze casting as well.
