Instability Through Movement
By 1964, there was a strong Latin American presence in modernist art exhibits in Paris and New York. These artists participated in all of the most up-to-date movements at the time. To a degree, they were somewhat outsiders in their own countries, since ethnocentrism was still a dominant aspect in Latin American art.
