We are closing for inventory on Monday, October 23rd. During this time, we will not be shipping out physical orders. SchoolArts Magazine subscriptions, Fine Art Image subscriptions, and digital orders will not be affected. We will resume shipping the first week of November. Policies 

Shipping and Handling
Add 10% of your total order, or $8.00, whichever is greater. For international orders, call for specific shipping and handling rates.

All order discrepancies, such as too few books, wrong titles, etc., must be reported within 15 days of receipt of order.

Satisfaction Guaranteed
You have 30 days from receipt to examine any materials you purchase. If not completely satisfied, please contact our customer service department to obtain the required authorization. Items must not be stamped or otherwise marked and must be returned in saleable condition. Shrink-wrapped items must be returned unopened to receive credit, unless defective. Please state specific damage to materials or other reason for return. Sales to bookstores and dealers are not eligible for overstock returns. Please request our policy for additional information.

Like most other e-commerce Web sites, Davis Publications uses both session/browser-based cookies and disk-based cookies to customize your experience each time you visit our site. You should be aware that personal information, such as your name or e-mail address, that you voluntarily disclose on bulletin boards or in Web logs (“blogs”) could be collected and disclosed by other users with access to those sites. Davis Publications cannot take any responsibility for such collection or disclosure.

Online Mailing Lists
If you have elected to receive e-mail announcements and promotions from us, and wish at any time to stop receiving such information, please call (800) 533-2847 or send an e-mail to contactus@davisart.com. You will receive confirmation that your e-mail address has been removed from our list. Please remember that removal requests are individual-e-mail-specific. While we will do our best to implement your cancellation as soon as possible, you may continue to receive promotional e-mails for a brief time after submitting your request.

Purchase Security
Any credit card information received by Davis Publications is encrypted for security with Secure Socket Layer (SSL). SSL encrypts your order information to avoid the decoding of that information by anyone other than Davis Publications. Your credit information is handled by established third party banking and processing agents under contract to Davis Publications. Once an online order has been confirmed, your credit card is not reused.

Law Enforcement and Protection of Users
Davis Publications will release personal information to third parties and organizations when we believe it is appropriate to do so in compliance with the law. This includes cooperating with law enforcement investigations, complying with court orders or subpoenas, protecting the legal rights of Davis Publications and our clients, protecting the safety of a person or persons, and protecting against fraud and/or credit risk reduction.

Domestic Bookstore Policy (Effective 08/23/17)

Davis Publications textbooks and ancillaries are available through Davis Publications only (800-533-2847). They are not available for sale to bookstores.

Resource Books
Davis Publications titles categorized as resource books earn a

  • Flat 30% discount
  • No volume discounts

Shipping/Terms:
All orders are shipped collect. Customer must provide a Fedex or UPS number to pre-pay freight charges. If you do not provide Davis with a number to ship collect, a 10% (ten percent) shipping and handling charge will be added to all orders.

  • Rush Shipping is available for a $10.00 processing fee. Rush orders must be received before 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time and the fee must be included on the purchase order. There is no weekend delivery for any orders, including Rush. Davis only ships and delivers on business days.
  • Payment terms are net 30 days to qualified accounts. Questions regarding invoices must be submitted within 30 days of receipt of invoice.

Returns:
Davis Publications no longer accepts overstock returns.
Returns for damages or mis-shipments require prior authorization.

Davis Publications Educational Dealer Policy (Effective 8/23/17)

Davis Publications textbooks and ancillaries are available through Davis Publications only (800-533-2847). They are not available for sale to Dealers.

Resource Books Only
Resource book titles earn a wholesale discount based upon the total number of books first in art education since 1901 ordered (mixed-title).

Shipping/Terms

Rush Shipping

  • Any order that requires faster than standard turn-around will require RUSH Shipping. There is a $10.00 processing fee. Rush orders must be received before 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time to be processed that day. There is no weekend delivery for any orders, including Rush. Davis only ships and delivers on business days.

Returns

  • We accept returns, WITH PRIOR APPROVAL, from domestic customers within 30 days of invoice date.
  • Return authorization is required. Fax requests to 508-753-3834. Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Materials must be returned unmarked and in saleable condition.
  • *Saleable condition indicates the items are not shelf-worn, faded, damaged, etc.
    Items returned in any of these conditions will not be credited to the customer’s account and will not be returned.
  • A packing slip or invoice number with date of invoice must be included.
    *No credit will be applied to invoices older than 30 days.
    Returns ARE subject to a $20.00 or 15% restocking fee, whichever is greater.
  • Any book damaged in transit is returnable for exchange or refund, when notification is received within 15 days of receipt. Please include the packing slip or invoice with any damaged goods. Authorization is required.
  • Only titles purchased directly from Davis and accompanied by a copy of the original invoice will be considered for return.
