Tortoise-shaped wine pot
One vessel type which was influenced by Sung Chinese celadons but which is unmistakably Korean is one such as this lidded wine pot. This pot has the typical blue-green Korean celadon glaze, and a very exuberant shape of a dragon spout, with a turtle shell lid. The base is in the form of the lotus blossom similar to what that on which images of the Buddha rest.
